1.05 Who Works in Food Processing

This middle school lesson, “Who Works in Food Processing?” (MS.CAS.1.5), is part of the Careers in Agricultural Sciences: Career Exploration unit within the Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum. Students explore careers in the food products and processing systems area by researching three careers and creating a tri-fold brochure, then reflect on how career decisions affect their professional lives. The lesson includes an interest approach with paper-plate drawings, a brochure-building activity, and an Eye Witness News review.
