1.06 Where Will Natural Resources Take You
This middle school lesson, “Where Will Natural Resources Take You?” (MS.CAS.1.6), is part of the Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum’s Careers in Agricultural Sciences unit. Students explore careers in the natural resource systems pathway through an acting interest approach, brainstorming, and online research using the National FFA Career Explorer, then write a three-paragraph essay about whether they would pursue a chosen career. The lesson aims to have students recognize five careers associated with natural resource systems.
