1.1 Identifying Agricultural Issues
This middle school lesson (MS.AI.1.1, “Identifying Agriculture Issues”) introduces students to the concept of agricultural issues as part of the Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum. Through an interest approach using sticky notes, newspaper article analysis, and categorization activities, students learn to identify current issues related to the agriculture industry and classify them into food, fiber, and natural resources categories.
