1.19 Food Guide Pyramid Pizza
This is a large-group lesson (Lesson 1.19, “Food Guide Pyramid Pizza”) from the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Grow Your PALS Program Guide, in the Field to Fork unit. Students make a pizza, then learn the food guide pyramid and its major food groups by coloring a pyramid page and categorizing the pizza’s ingredients into the correct food groups.
