1.2 Agriculture and the Ethanol Industry
This is a lesson plan (“Agriculture and the Ethanol Industry,” Unit 1 Lesson 2) from the National FFA Organization’s Renewable Fuels curriculum. Students explore how the ethanol industry impacts agricultural commodities, communities, and the U.S. and world agricultural industry through activities including a weather-report exercise, a Go-Get-It guided-notes activity, and a Jeopardy review game. The lesson includes interest approach, content handouts, application activities, and a true/false evaluation.
