1.2 Evaluating Sources of Agricultural Issues

This middle school agricultural literacy lesson teaches students how to find and evaluate sources of information when researching agriculture issues. Students identify four main sources (Internet, newspapers, magazines, and interviews) and learn strategies to distinguish credible, trustworthy sources by examining factors such as author credentials, publication date, background/funding, type of resource, relation, and repetition.
