1.2 Food From Coast to Coast
“Food from Coast to Coast” is a primary-grade lesson in Unit 1: Production Agriculture that teaches students which agricultural products are grown in different regions of the United States and how geography (climate, soil, water, and topography) determines what is farmed or raised in each area. It uses an interactive “Go-Get-It” note card activity and a map-based cut-and-paste activity sheet where students place agricultural products in the regions where they grow best.
