1.2 Thinking Critically and Making Decisions

This is a Reaching New Heights leadership lesson (“Thinking Critically and Making Decisions,” RNH.1.2) that encourages students to think critically about the decisions they face and how those decisions relate to their goals and aspirations. It defines decision making, identifies common decision-making mistakes and skills, and teaches a seven-step “scientific method of problem solving” that students apply to a real decision or problem in their lives.
