1.4 Beneficial Insects and Pests
This is Lesson Four of Unit 1: Identification, created by the National FFA Organization, focused on identifying pests and beneficial insects found in nursery/landscape plants. Through a PowerPoint presentation, note-taking worksheets, online research, and a snowball review activity, students learn to identify common pests and beneficial insects, evaluate their causes and effects on plants, and discuss pest management strategies relevant to the nursery/landscape CDE.
