1.5 Issues in Conserving Natural Resources

This middle school agricultural literacy lesson (“Issues in Conserving Natural Resources,” part of the Pork Checkoff Agricultural Issues unit) teaches students to identify and research current issues related to the conservation and preservation of natural resources. Using an online issue-analysis module and other print sources, students locate and evaluate credible articles on environmental topics such as water and land conservation, earning participation credit for the resources they gather.
