1.7 What Is the FFA Creed, and What Does It Mean

This FFA Basics lesson, “What is the FFA Creed, and what does it mean?” (FFA.OH.1.7), guides students in examining the meaning of the FFA Creed and connecting it to the FFA Mission Statement. Through an interest approach using a famous speech, an analysis activity examining the Creed for themes of continuous improvement, vision, and character, and a choral recitation activity, students explore and learn to recite the FFA Creed. Includes student handouts, the full text of the Creed, and a fill-in-the-blank assessment with answer key.
