1.8 Pumpkin Carving
This Grow Your PALS Program Guide activity (Activity 1.8, Teamwork unit) uses pumpkin carving as a hands-on, mentor-paired activity to teach innovative problem solving. Students brainstorm and try a new method of carving a pumpkin, then assess and reflect on whether trying new ideas leads to better results and innovation.
