2.1 Types of Air Pollution
This middle school lesson (“Types of Air Pollution,” Lesson MS.NR.2.1) from the Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum teaches students about the importance of clean air and the impact of air quality on plant, animal, and human life. Students learn to define air, air pollution, and air pollutants, and to cite three examples and sources of air pollution (carbon, sulfur, and particle pollutants). The lesson includes an interest approach using room spray, teacher master visuals, a Picasso e-Moment art review, and an assessment.
