This is Lesson 17, “Agriculture All Around,” from the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Grow Your PALS Program Guide (Agricultural Awareness unit). In this one-on-one mentor/mentee lesson, students explore everyday personal items in their bedroom and learn how those items—and the by-products of crops like cotton, soybeans, wheat, and rice—come from agriculture, demonstrating that agriculture is all around us.
