2.2 Economic Impact of Agricultural Issues

This middle school lesson (MS.AI.2.2) from the Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum teaches students how agricultural issues create economic impacts through the principles of supply, demand, and trends. Through an interest-approach pop auction, a Boggle-style group brainstorming activity using news-topic scenario cards, and a nursery-rhyme rewriting review, students learn to explain the economic impact of an agricultural issue.
