2.20 Farm Safety and Load Stability
This is Lesson 20 (“Farm Safety and Load Stability”) from the Grow Your PALS Program Guide, part of the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Agricultural Mechanics and Technology unit. Through hands-on demonstrations, students learn about gravity and grain-handling equipment dangers and observe how load placement and center of gravity affect equipment stability and safety. The large-group lesson includes an interest approach, two demonstration-based objectives, a drawing review activity, and application extensions.
