This is Lesson 27 (“Animals and Safety”) from the Grow Your PALS Program Guide, part of the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Animal Science unit. The small-group lesson uses a story, a “Livestock Safety for Kids” video, and discussion to teach children the safety rules for working around livestock, and concludes with a crossword puzzle assessment.
