This is Lesson 28 (Animal Feed Needs) from the Grow Your PALS Program Guide, part of the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Animal Science unit. In this large-group lesson, students learn to read and interpret pet food labels and compare multiple pet food products by examining information such as price, serving size, nutrient content, and ingredients to decide which food is best for a pet.
