2.41 The Reaction and Importance of Food
This is Lesson 41 (“The Reaction and Importance of Food”) from the Food Science unit of the National FFA Mentoring Program’s Grow Your PALS Program Guide. In this small-group lesson, students identify the parts of the food pyramid and its importance and observe a chemical reaction by mixing baking soda and vinegar, connecting it to how foods work together in the body.
