2.48 Tree Timelines
“Tree Timelines” is Lesson 48 in the Plant Science unit of the National FFA Grow Your PALS mentoring program. In this small-group lesson, students examine tree “cookies” (log crosscuts), learn facts about tree rings, determine a tree’s age by counting its rings, and create a paper-plate “tree timeline” depicting important events in their own lives.
