2.51 Develop an Awareness of Photosynthesis
This is Lesson 51 (Plant Science unit) of the National FFA Mentoring Program’s “Grow Your PALS Program Guide,” a one-on-one mentoring lesson titled “Develop an Awareness of Photosynthesis.” The mentor guides the mentee in planting fast-growing seeds and constructing a cardboard cover to block partial sunlight, then observing over five days how light affects plant growth to introduce the concepts of photosynthesis and chlorophyll.
