2.9 Trash-What’s the Big Deal
This is Lesson 9 (“Trash? What’s the Big Deal?”) from the Grow Your PALS Program Guide of the National FFA Mentoring Program, a large-group lesson on recycling. Students learn the three R’s (reduce, reuse, recycle), identify common items that can and cannot be recycled, and discover products made from recyclable materials through interactive activities, motion-based review, and survey/internet application tasks.
