2017 Student Handbook

The Official FFA Student Handbook (16th edition, 2017) is the member’s guide to FFA information and involvement, published by the National FFA Organization. It covers what FFA is, its history and traditions, premier leadership (chapter operations, officers, parliamentary procedure, ceremonies, degrees, conferences), personal growth (the Me/We/Do/Serve model), and career success (supervised agricultural experiences, proficiencies, career and leadership development events, and careers in agriculture). The included teacher front matter pairs two quick lesson plans with the handbook—one introducing FFA (“Who Are We Now: What Is FFA?”) and one on the Program of Activities.
