2022 Trending Agricultural Topics

This National FFA “Trending Topics” resource is a reference document identifying 3-5 topics that National FFA researches each year as trending in agriculture, education, and FFA, used to support its advocacy and literacy platform. It organizes topics into three categories—Agriculture (e.g., Farm Bill reauthorization, sustainability/climate/carbon, supply chain disruptions, plant-based foods, BIPOC agriculturalists), Education (e.g., teacher recruitment/retention, CTE, technological trends, student trends), and FFA (e.g., the National FFA Caucus, equity/diversity/inclusion, SAE for All, the FFA Strategic Plan)—with explanatory notes and links to outside resources for each.
