3.14 The Amazing Hurdle Race
This is a small-group lesson (“The Amazing Hurdle Race”) from the National FFA Grow Your PALS Program Guide, Lesson 3.14 in the Exercise unit. PALS mentors lead a jumping-jack endurance warm-up and then a hurdle race in which the PAL answers true/false questions to learn how exercise affects the body and why warming up and cooling down matter. A short true/false assessment and a teacher answer key are included.
