3.2 Advocacy in Agriculture

This middle school lesson (MS.AI.3.2, “Advocacy in Agriculture”) from the Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum teaches students how advocacy influences the agricultural industry. Using the American Farm Bureau as a case study, students examine historical milestones and current concerns of agriculture advocates, then locate and summarize a current event before creating a timeline of important Farm Bureau decisions.
