3.2 From Farm to Fork – Plant Product Pathways
This middle school agricultural literacy lesson teaches students about plant product pathways—the path an agricultural commodity takes from planting and harvesting through processing, transportation, and marketing. Students take notes on the four steps using a graphic organizer, then construct a plant product pathway tracing how cotton becomes clothing using “The Story of Cotton” booklet and an optional video.
