3.28 Natural Health
This is Lesson 3.28 (“Natural Health”) from the Grow Your PALS Program Guide, a large-group mentoring lesson for the National FFA Mentoring Program. Students learn about five plants with medicinal/healing properties (aloe vera, celery, garlic, parsley, marigold) and explore types of stress along with stress-reduction techniques such as deep breathing and muscle contraction. The lesson includes an interest approach, activity sheets, hands-on practice, a creative “Picasso” review activity, and a true/false and multiple-choice assessment.
