3.3 This Little Student Went to the Market…
This middle school food and agricultural literacy lesson teaches students the “4 P’s” of food product marketing—Product, Price, Place, and Promotion—and how grocery stores use them. Through an interest approach comparing name-brand and generic items, content notes, and e-Moment activities, students design their own supermarket layout and pricing/promotion plan while connecting marketing concepts to four areas of leadership (values, belief, character, integrity).
