3.7 Is It a Fruit Smoothie

“Is It a Fruit Smoothie?” is Lesson 3.7 in the Food and Nutrition unit of the National FFA Grow Your PALS Program Guide, designed as a one-on-one mentoring activity. The mentor and PALS examine nutritional labels to compare 100 percent fruit juice to lower-juice drinks, follow a recipe to make a real fruit smoothie, and learn how calcium and milk support strong bones and teeth.
