4.1 Pyramid Power

“Pyramid Power” is a primary-grade nutrition lesson (Unit 4) from the Food for America series that teaches students about the USDA Food Guide Pyramid as a tool for healthy living. Through drawing, coloring, cutting/gluing activities and discussion, students learn the five major food groups, classify familiar foods, and identify the appropriate number of daily servings from each group, along with the importance of exercise.
