4.2 Weighing Your Options
“Weighing Your Options” is a middle school food and agricultural literacy lesson teaching students how to read and critique nutrition fact labels, including the footnote, Daily Values, and Percent Daily Value (%DV). Through an interactive “Go Get It” activity and label-analysis worksheets, students evaluate and research the nutritional content of food products to make healthier dietary choices.
