4.2 Who Is Watching Out for Us
“Who Is Watching Out for Us?” is a middle school food and agricultural literacy lesson on consumer awareness in animal agriculture. Students learn to evaluate information sources for credibility and bias, and to identify appropriate industry agencies/organizations (e.g., National Pork Board, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, National Dairy Council) where consumers can find reliable information about different livestock species.
