4.7 Proficiency and Star Awards

This FFA lesson (FFA.OH.4.7) introduces students to FFA’s Agricultural Proficiency Awards and the American Star Awards. Through two activities, students explore proficiency award areas using FFA resources, learn the placement and entrepreneurship award categories, examine the four American Star Award areas, and write a mock press release as if they won a Star award. Includes a matching assessment with key and supplemental worksheets and a field trip reflection.
