4.8 What Are CDEs
This FFA lesson, “What are CDEs?” (FFA.OH.4.8), introduces students to Career Development Events by defining what a CDE is and connecting CDEs to the eight agricultural career pathways. Through two activities, students compare CDEs to Olympic events, explore events of interest using The Official FFA Student Handbook, and match specific CDEs to their corresponding career pathways. The resource includes activity sheets, a word search, and an assessment with answer keys.
