5.1 Ethanol Production and Utilization Impacts
This is a Renewable Fuels curriculum lesson (Unit 5, Lesson 1) titled “Ethanol Production and Utilization Impacts” from the National FFA Organization. Through a myth-busting interest approach, peer-teaching (“Little Professor Moment”), and a visual “Hieroglyphic Moment” activity, students learn the positive economic impacts of ethanol and the potential negative environmental impacts. It includes teaching masters, activity sheets, an assessment, and application activities.
