5.4 Welcome to Ethics Court
“Welcome to Ethics Court!” (Lesson MS.AS.5.4) is a middle school agricultural literacy lesson from the Pork Checkoff/National FFA Animal Science: Animal Welfare and Care curriculum. Through a mock “ethics court” voting activity, definitions, and a personal code of ethics, students explore the concepts of ethics, animal welfare, and animal rights and learn five ethical practices in animal production. It includes an interest approach, teaching materials, an activity sheet, and an assessment.
