7.1 Diversity and Valuing Multiculturalism

This Reaching New Heights leadership lesson (RNH.7.1) helps students understand the power of diversity and the value of multiculturalism. Through a “Where I’m From” poem activity, an “If the World Were 100 People” statistics discussion, and a reflective journaling exercise, students explore their own culture and consider why diversity and multiculturalism matter to leadership.
