8.5 Advancing Through Time

“Advancing Through Time” (Lesson MS.IAS.8.5) is a middle school agricultural literacy lesson in which students trace the advances of science and technology in the agricultural industry from 1793 to the present. Students build a personal timeline, then collaboratively construct a virtual classroom timeline of key agricultural events and record them on their own timelines, reflecting on how technological change has shaped agriculture.
