8.6 Issues Beware
“Issues Beware!” (Lesson MS.IAS.8.6) is a middle school food and agricultural literacy lesson that introduces students to major issues facing the agricultural industry. Through brainstorming, group expert research, and a creative “karaoke” song activity, students explore and teach one another about issues such as animal rights and welfare, biotechnology, waste management, and organic agriculture, then complete a written assessment.
