Advisory Committee Handbook
The PALS Advisory Committee Workbook is part of the National FFA Mentoring Program (Partners in Active Learning Support), used in Step 2 to guide a local advisory committee through a program planning session and the development of a PALS mission statement. PALS is a mentoring program matching high school agriculture students with elementary students; this workbook provides the agenda, handouts, and worksheets (covering mentoring benefits/roles, vision and mission, local action planning, community support and fundraising, promoting/marketing, and recognition) that committee participants complete during the planning session.
