Advocacy: How to Change the World
A 60-minute leadership lesson plan built around the “Kid President – How to Change the World” video, in which students identify the tactics people use to avoid or dismiss issues and explore positive ways to influence change and advocate for causes. Using an accompanying worksheet, students contrast “wrong” and “right” approaches to creating change and reflect on how they could use advocacy. It is designed to work as a leadership lesson, a supplement to ag communication curriculum, an FFA project reflection, or officer team development.
