Current Event Worksheet – Bringing It Home

A student worksheet titled “Current Event Worksheet: Bringing It Home” in which students read a global or national news article, identify the overarching issue, and use a concentric-circle graphic organizer (World, Nation, State, Local) to record how the issue relates at each level. Students then reflect on how their perspective changed after connecting the topic to news closer to home.
