Employee Relations – The Leadership Challenge (PowerPoint)
This LifeKnowledge Advanced High School lesson (AHS.11), “Building Followership: The Leadership Challenge,” teaches students about the symbiotic relationship between leaders and followers and the value of effective followership in an organization. Students explore the role of leadership and effective followers, identify the characteristics and skills of effective followers (self-management/self-leadership, competence and focus, and courage), and examine the reciprocal roles leaders and followers play in forming a productive leader-follower relationship.
