FFA Applications – SAE Programs and FFA’s Proficiency Awards
This LifeKnowledge lesson (AHS.53) teaches students about the rewards and recognition available for quality Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs through FFA’s Agricultural Proficiency Award program. Students learn to identify potential honors, locate applications and support materials (handbooks, CD-ROM resources, online materials), and list the categories of proficiency awards. The lesson includes an interest approach, teaching strategies tied to three objectives, review activities, and an assessment with answer key.
