Frayer Model
The Frayer Model is a literacy strategy resource featuring a four-compartment graphic organizer—definition, characteristics, examples, and non-examples—for recording information related to a concept. It can be used with any assigned reading or modified to summarize words or main ideas from a video, website, or class lecture, and includes a reproducible student worksheet.
