GPS – AHS.14 – Embracing Emerging Technology in the Workplace
This LifeKnowledge lesson (AHS.14) for advanced high school agricultural education teaches students about embracing emerging technology in the workplace rather than fearing or resisting it. Through brainstorming, an “Eyewitness News Moment” interview activity, and transparencies, students analyze the advantages and disadvantages of emerging technologies in agriculture/agribusiness and learn strategies—such as being a life-long learner and matching new technology to workplace needs—for successfully adapting to change.
