HS.55 Components of the Communication Process

This LifeKnowledge lesson (HS.55) teaches the components of the communication process, guiding students to define the three components of quality communication (deliver, interpret, receive), identify barriers to verbal and non-verbal communication, and develop a two-minute agriculture-related message applying these skills. It includes an interest approach activity (“Crazy Communication Cards”), teaching strategies, transparency masters, an assessment, and a speech evaluation rubric.
