Instructor’s Guide

The Assistive Technology for Rural Youth Curriculum is a curriculum package for FFA chapters developed by the Breaking New Ground Resource Center at Purdue University (2009). It consists of a Leader’s Guide with three 50-60 minute lesson plans, The Toolbox CD, and a classroom poster, designed to raise FFA members’ awareness of the impact of disability on people in agriculture and the benefits of assistive technology. The three lessons cover tools/technologies/innovative work practices in agriculture, principles of assistive technology, and disability awareness.
