Kayley and Cheyenne – Composting SAE

This FFA lesson plan, “Composting,” uses the story of two FFA members whose supervised agricultural experience (SAE) involves composting cafeteria food waste. Students watch a video and complete worksheets to learn how composting works, the five areas that must be controlled for successful composting, and the phases of composting and the bacteria involved in each.
